I ordered one, finally- the cheapest Wacom I could find- one called "bamboo" or something like that. It is tiny, but hey, I've never even touched one before (and I don't remember even seeing one in person) so it should be interesting to play with.
New comic coming soon- Something hilarious (imho) and based on a true story.
I downloaded lots of GIMP brushes, so fun fun and thanks to the people who make them.

I wish I had a sub D:

All my tablets have had small screen resolutions. My tablet now, a Graphire3, has a 4x5 screen. I don't even know what my first one had. After you get used to it, you won't even realize how small the resolution is. It only gets in the way if you're ever going to like trace something straight on top of your tablet.
The one thing that bothered me when I first got my first tablet was getting used to not being able to stare down at my hand while drawing, since the tablet didn't have a screen in it. (I'm assuming the Bamboo doesn't have a screen in it.) After a while it becomes second nature.
